Servicio de Idiomas: Spanish Courses for Foreigners

The Servicio de Idiomas of the University of La Laguna is offering new Spanish courses which combine face-to-face classes (30 hours with a teacher in a classroom with other students) with online classes (30 hours of individual and independent work).

The online course is designed by the Instituto Cervantes, it is called AVE (Aula Virtual de Español) and is an educational Internet program that offers courses to learn Spanish. For more information consult the web page http://ave.cervantes.es/

The face-to-face sessions in different groups and timetables according to level.

Course Fees:

• General Public: 225 €
• University Staff: 175 €
• Erasmus students: The Vicerrectorado de Internacionalización y Excelencia will fund 75€ of the course fees of students in the Erasmus programme, the remaining 100€ must be paid by the student. Once the course has ended, students must demonstrate they have attended 80% of the face-to-face course, as well as having completed the online activities. Otherwise, they must repay the amount funded by the Vicerrectorado de Internacionalización y Excelencia.

If you are interested in doing the course, you should do a level test (arrange an appointment).
